on a trip back home to Sri Lanka in 2018, these photos (taken mostly on digital) were of some beautiful animals at yala national park. having gone to the jungles of Sri Lanka a number of times growing up, I had known about how patient one had to be just to see these animals in the wild but trying to photograph them was another beast in and of itself. fun fact: we were charged by an elephant on this trip. words could not describe the fear I felt.
