on a camping trip to sequoia and kings canyon national parks, I accidentally left the film in the summer heat for quite a few hours and they ended up getting a pretty cool look to it. portra 400, the film I usually use, had its beautifully saturated color taken out a little but by the overachieving sun; giving this roll of film a unique, desaturated look. unreal landscapes and ginormous trees made it hard to keep my eyes on the road while driving on the way back since the enormity of national parks is really indescribable through words or even photos.
